Online Support

Genderbridge runs a Facebook group as an extension of our community support efforts. The Facebook group is open to both GenderBridge members as well as non-members, and provides a space for discussion, debate, and the sharing of trans-related events and information. On this newest addition to GenderBridge's online face, we tweet about trans-related news and events within Auckland, as well as in the larger New Zealand context, and worldwide. Click on the icon to visit our feed.

Genderbridge runs a Yahoo group as an extension of our community support efforts. The group is viewable on its website or messages can be received via email. Participation is open to both GenderBridge members and non-members; discussion, debate, questions, and the sharing of trans-related events and information is always welcome. Click on the icon to visit the group.

Part of GenderBridge's aim is to offer support not only to transgendered people, but to their family members, friends, and other allies. To this end, we run a SOFFA (Significant Others, Friends, Families and Allies) Yahoo group so partners and others with trans loved ones can talk, share information, network, and support one another.
