Gender Reassignment Health Services for Trans People Within New Zealand
     [This Ministry of Health document is written for health professionals but is also a valuable resource for trans people.  It provides guidance for the assessment and principles of care for trans people, information about current best practice for hormone therapy treatment, and information about access to and availability of surgery.]

GenderTree
     [A website written from a Christian perspective, which helps those who are gender variant to understand that what you are is not inherently wrong or sinful. Also offers information on telling partners and children about gender identity issues.]

High Cost Treatment Pool
     [Details of the funding that some transgender people in New Zealand use to obtain genital surgery. There are, however, limits to the funding of these surgeries and people have reported long waiting times and not being given choices of the surgeon used.]

Khaos Khomix (Comic)
     [Features both an FTM and an MTF character, and documents both of their transitions. Read Tom's Story and Charlie's Story for the focus on the trans characters.]

My Life in Blue (Comic)
     [A fey/genderqueer character in highschool.]

The Princess (Comic)
     [A really sweet story about a preteen MTF girl with a mum who is having trouble accepting her, but with a lot of other allies on her side.]

Riot Nerd (Comic)
     [Set in university and incorporating quite a few gender diverse characters, including an MTF character, the humour of this comic is nerdy and political.]

Rooster Tails (Comic)
     [Comic written by transman Sam Orchard about the life of Sam and his trans/genderqueer boyfriend Joey.]

St. Louis Gender Foundation
     [Founded over 20 years ago, the St. Louis Gender Foundation strives to provide a safe place for people to explore their gender differences.]

TGFolk
     [The TGFolk Support Lists are open to everyone, be they transsexual or transvestite, open or closeted, or just interested in transgender issues.]

TGNI
     [A place where all people involved in any manner with Transgenderism can openly discuss their issues, concerns and needs with others in a safe, friendly and secure environment.]

     [Here you will find all means of information and discussions between people all over the world whose identities range across the spectrum from butch to femme to female-born-transgendered.]

Female-to-Male International
     [FTMInternational and cognate groups provide support meetings for FTMs and their families in cities throughout the world. FTMInternational spans 18 countries and 24 years.]

FORGE
     [FORGE (For Ourselves: Reworking Gender Expression) is a national education, advocacy and support umbrella organization supporting FTMs and SOFFAs (Significant Others, Family, Friends and Allies).]

FTM Aotearoa
     [FTM Aotearoa is a support network that s based around manaakitanga. This is a Maori terminology that can be interpreted as; to look after or to show kindness towards.]

FTM Australia
     [FTM Australia provides resources and health information for all men (identified 'female'at birth), their family members, friends and healthcare providers, since 2001.]

     [The Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome Support Group (AISSG) is a UK-based charity which provides information and support to young people, adults and families affected by XY-female conditions such as complete and partial Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome or AIS.]

     [This is the companion Web site to "Sex: Unknown," originally broadcast on Tuesday, October 30, 2001. The film investigates the complicated world of gender identity.]
